The Landform Contextual Mesh: Fusing Surface and Orbital Terrain Data(NPO-52696-1)

The Landform contextual mesh system combines terrain image and 3D data taken from a surface vehicle with terrain data from orbital observations into a combined 3D scene for visualization. The contextual mesh helps users understand the context (situational awareness) of the surface vehicle in relation to local and distant terrain features.
