Loft: An Automated Mesh Generator for Stiffened Shell Aerospace Vehicles(LAR-20673-1)

Loft is an automated parametric mesh generation code that is designed for aerospace vehicle structures. From user input, Loft generates meshes for wings, noses, tanks, fuselage sections, thrust structures, and so on. As a mesh is generated, each element is assigned properties to mark the part of the vehicle with which it is associated. This property assignment is an extremely powerful feature that enables detailed analysis tasks, such as load application and structural sizing. New, version 4, features include additional object types, airfoil shapes, automated stitching, program flow control, and non-mesh analysis support.This is an update to NTR 1434139697 for software LAR-18704-1 released in 2023 describing new features.
