SWPC CAT Web Tool(GSC-18546-1)

The SWPC CME Analysis Tool Web (SWPC-CAT-Web) tool is an online version of the original SWPC CME Analysis (SWPC-CAT) Tool that was written in IDL. The SWPC CAT Web tool is developed by the Community Coordinated Modeling Center (CCMC) at GSFC. The original SWPC CAT tool is developed by the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). It is the primary tool being used by NOAA SWPC in measuring key parameters of a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) as it emerges from the solar corona. At CCMC, we have re-written the backend IDL version of SWPC_CAT in python. We have also implemented a front-end interface all in python and made it into a web application. Now, any user who is interested in using the tool can do so with an internet connection and a web browser.
